Viewers' Committee

The CJ ENM Commerce Division Viewers' Committee is a statutory body established under the Broadcasting Act to protect viewers’ rights and interests. It represents viewers’ opinions and monitors broadcasts.

Composition
Members of the Viewers' Committee are appointed based on recommendations from organizations representing viewers from various sectors.
Meeting Schedule
Meets once a month.
Key Activities
  • Present opinions or request corrections on broadcast programming
  • Present opinions or request corrections on self-review rules and the content of broadcast programs
  • Handle other matters related to protecting viewers’ rights and interests and providing remedies for infringements
